History

Telling the history of SolutionsNCR begins and ends with John Creamer.

As President of SolutionsNCR, John has a long and interesting list of accomplishments and experience.

In 1978, John launched his career in the cash register business with Sweda, where he worked on mechanical and electro-mechanical registers. In 1982, he opened his own Sharp cash register dealership in the San Francisco Bay Area. John quickly expanded his client base to include 96 Petco stores and 75 McDonald's and Burger King locations.

To care for his ailing mother, John moved to Sacramento in 1989.

In 1991, John was hired at ECR Systems where he sold and installed Sharp point of sale systems.

A year later, he was lured away from ECR by Quality Business Machines to lead the NCR division of grocery systems, where he installed and maintained over 350 accounts.

In 1998 Quality Business Machines was sold to Bristol Retail Solutions and John continued to take on more responsibility.

Bristol Retail Solutions, unfortunately went bankrupt in 2001, and as a result, QBM LLC was formed.

In 2004 John left QBM LLC and went to work for SNCR in the same capacity.

John and his wife, Teresa purchased the California operations of SNCR in 2005 and formed SNCR California. That was the beginning of a good business that just got better with solid business practices award-winning recognition, including the Circle of Excellence status from NCR. John and Teresa quickly grew SNCR into the number two dealer for ACS in the nation. And, as a result, they were granted additional territories for excellence in sales and service on the NCR product line.

SNCR was elected as one of only two Preferred Vendors in 2008 for the Unified Vendor Program in the three states of California, Oregon and Washington.

Later in 2008, SNCR hired additional personnel and expanded their operations to an additional office in Burien, Washington.

Today, SNCR is SolutionsNCR ... a unique and solid organization that combines the strength and integrity of the NCR brand with the trust and personal touch of a family-run business.
